We all need a little peace in our lives, and we need it now more than ever. The inspiration for this came from some tile work I came across on Pinterest. As I stitched it, and tweaked it, and stitched it some more, I realized that the willow tree and the dragonfly spoke to me of peacefulness and serenity. With that in mind, I searched on Zen Garden, and found an image of a sand sculpture that I thought was perfect for this. I realize that the particular color I chose does not show up super well on this fabric, but I actually preferred it this way, because I feel it continues the feel of peace and tranquility in a time of madness.
I hope you find similar feelings of peace as you stitch this simple, yet hopefully compelling piece. Feel free to change the colors to the ones that speak to you, and please do show me on social media your progress.
